Subject : About the bad condition of road

Sir,

Our Municipality wants waking up, and as repeated requests to their office have had no effect, perhaps a little publicity will do not harm. For the last few months Station Road of Tufanganj has been almost impassable. The surface of the road is so badly broken that is dangerous for motors and carriages to pass the way. Moreover large drains, and heaps of roadmetal on either side of the road leave very little room for pedestrians to walk along it.

It is a matter of great regret that we should be inconvenienced in this way for months together. In the circumstances, I would, therefore, earnestly request the authorities concerned through your esteemed daily that the road may be put in through repair without further delay.
