7. Senior Biologist

: i) Candidates with prior experience
in animal abundance estimation techniques.
ii) Proficiency in using computers and good writing skill in English language. iii) Publication record desirable.
Experience: At least 02 years of
research experience.

Maximum 35 years as on 20/12/2018.
|
Rs.40,000/- per month.
|
The candidates will be
appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of Six months/ One year,
which can be extended depending on the performance of the candidates and the
project requirement. The vacancies are for various projects and Tiger Cell.
The duty station of
candidates selected for the posts at Sl. No. 1 to 3 will be at field sites in
Ganga and Brahmaputra, headquarters at Guwahati and Dehradun.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is
relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/PWD and 03 years for OBC category.
Selection Process: Selection of
candidates will be through Online Written Examination and Personal Interview.
The written examination will be held on 29th December, 2018. The written
examination will be conducted at the following centres namely Dehradun,
Jaipur, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Lucknow, Bhopal and Delhi/
NCR. The Interview will be held at the Wildlife Institute of
India, Dehradun in the middle of January, 2019.
Application Fee: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD
candidates) for the posts at Sl. No. 1 to 3 and Rs. 800/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ST
candidates) for the posts at Sl. No. 4 to 7 as
