Subject : About the Rash Driving
Sir,
Kindly allow me through the
columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of the
authorities concerned to the rash driving of motor cars, motor buses and
lorries along the N.H 31. The traffic police are there; the traffic signals are
also there. But quite a few drivers, particularly those of trucks and lorries,
ignore the signals and drive at break-neck speed. Even when school or college
students cross the road, drivers do not care to slow down the speed. It is a
matter of great public annoyance that accidents have, of late, become a regular
affair in the N.H 31. The drivers overtake speeding cars ahead resulting in
collisions and casualties.
In the circumstances, I would,
therefore, earnestly request the authorities concerned through your esteemed
daily to put an end to this problem.
Thanking you, Yours
truly,
