Subject : About the bad condition of the
hospital in Tufanganj
Sir,
Kindly allow me through the
columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of the
Health Directorate to the deplorable condition of our city hospital. The
condition of the only Government hospital of Tufanganj has deteriorated so much
that the patients here can expect anything but least health service. The number
of doctors and nurses is hopelessly inadequate. The doctors do their duties
perfunctorily. The nurses also shirk their duties and ill-treat the patients.
The wards are damp, dirty and unhygienic too. Cats and dogs move about freely
in the corridor. The food supplied to the patients is inferior in quality.
In the circumstances, I would,
therefore, earnestly request the Government to take effective measures to
restore a healthy environment in and around the hospital by taking to task the
errant doctors, nurses and other employees.
Thanking you, Yours truly,
Station Road, Ramhorimore Rajibul Haque Sarkar
